Ooni Of Ife'S Buiral Rites Stoped As Abobaku Flees

Several report claim burial rite of Oba Sijuwade, the Ooni of ife has reported been stalled after  the Abobaku fled the town.The Abobaku is “The one who dies with the king”.He is usually appointed upon a king’s coronation, and has to be buried with the king when he eventually dies.His job is to serve the king even in the world beyond.

The early announcement of the Ooni's death is said to have alerted the Abobaku of the King's death ,possibly enabling his to escape.
