Football Review During the Week

 



It was a weekend full with surprise in Europe club football as many top team lose during the week before the international break.

In England, Manchester United and Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City settled for a goal- goal draw, while Arsenal played a goalless draw against Brighton Hove Abion, away. Chelsea the current Table leader after match day 7,  sailed their way pass Southampton at home in a crucial match which saw James Ward-Prowse having a red card in the 77minutes of the game.

In Spain, Atletico Madrid scored Twice to claim 3 point  against Barcelona, while Real Madrid who are the table topper lose away to Espanyol who were playing at home.

In Germany Borussia Dortmund won at home against Augsburg, while Bayern Munich who are still currently topping the table lose at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.

In France, it was a surprising away lose to the team topping the table, PSG against Rennes. Rennes have to scored twice without PSG having a goal. Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe where all in the line-up.

Italy saw all top team, Juventus, Inter, Ac Milan and Roma winning their match to claim all 3 point.
